KNW in the Community: Supporting Liana and the Big Red Advent Challenge

At KNW, we’re proud to support members of our community who are taking on incredible challenges for important causes.

This month, we’re supporting Liana, who recently visited us to share her story and raise awareness for the Big Red Advent Challenge, in aid of the Ruth Strauss Foundation.

Liana is currently undertaking an inspiring personal challenge throughout Advent, pushing herself both physically and mentally while raising vital funds for families affected by lung cancer. The Big Red Advent Challenge encourages participants to complete daily fitness challenges in the lead-up to Christmas, all while supporting a cause that provides emotional support and practical guidance to families during some of their most difficult moments.

The Ruth Strauss Foundation does incredible work supporting families facing the loss of a parent from cancer, with a particular focus on non-smoking lung cancers. Their work helps ensure children and young people receive the emotional support they need at a time when it matters most.
