Achilles Audit

The Achilles Audit is complete for another year! We have increased our level from a B1 to a B2 and achieved 100% on both the system and sites elements.

The auditor was particularly impressed with our health and safety processes and how we approve and monitor our instructors/assessors. This includes the documentation we retain, and the new IQA process where instructors are risk rated on both course delivery and paperwork.

What is an Achilles Audit?

Achilles Audits serve to independently verify that an organisation’s management systems comply with the standards that have been agreed for Health & Safety, Environment, Quality, and Corporate Social Responsibility as well as covering local legislation and regulations.

It is important to note that all Achilles auditors have passed a Lead Auditor course (IRCA approved ISO09001 Lead Auditor course or equivalent) and hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. In addition, they have relevant industry/sector experience and current awareness of appropriate management systems standards.
