Suitable for operators in a wide range of industries and work environments, including:Agriculture, Aquaculture and fish farming, Building products, Construction, Forestry and timber processing, Industrial sites, Ports and harbours, Road haulage and distribution. By the end of this course participants will have gained an understanding of: Legislation regarding cranes; Basic principles machinery/hydraulics; Safe working load; Slings/attachments; Maintenance/inspection; Stability/counterbalance; Signalling; Operation

Course Details:

The essential principles of crane operation and what they mean in practice. What you must do to ensure the highest standards of safety while operating your crane. How to operate your crane efficiently, including the use of different attachments. How to maintain your crane to the recommended standards.

Duration: 1 to 2 days dependant on experience
