The course is for anyone employed in agriculture or horticulture (community/ amenity) involved in the storage, handling and application of pesticides. Those who are registered with the NRoSO and/or BASIS will accumulate: NRoSO 12 points, BASIS 12 points
Course Details:
The course covers:- Definitions and terminology; The consequences of not using or handling pesticides safely; Encompassing legislation that affects pesticides use ; Pesticide product labels; PPE - personal protective equipment; Safe storage and transport of pesticides; Environmental factors; Safe disposal of pesticides and containers; How to deal with accidents; The keeping of pesticide records.
