Course Details:

Areas of countryside offer a unique range of opportunities for people to enjoy its varied landscapes. Some activities such as horse riding, cycling and walking have been enjoyed for generations. These and other pursuits are bringing new demands for countryside access and with them a range of benefits to local communities such as opportunities for business enterprise and support for rural shops and pubs. Participation in countryside activity can also bring significant benefits to society by helping to promote public understanding of rural issues, and providing opportunities to improve health and quality of life. Some of the course content includes, to understand advantages and problems of public access, planning and managing access, landscapes management schemes, sources of financial assistance and action planning.
