Who should do this course?
Any person employed in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping and grounds maintenance who is or will be required to operate brushcutters / trimmers.
Course Details:
State and comply with safety and legal requirements of a brushcutter/ trimmer with emphasis on safe practices, warning signs and guards. Understand the correct PPE needed and the standard required. Using the manufacturers handbook, perform routine checks. Identify which cutting head to select for the relevant operating conditions. Carry out fuel mixing correctly. Operate the Brushcutter/Trimmer in a safe manner having regard for the safety of themselves, the public, property and environmental factors.
Duration: 1 day for expereinced or 2 days for novices
Maximum: 6 learners
