Swing Lift Lifting Appliance Who is the course designed for? Novice operators who intend to use a swing lift appliance whilst at work. Learning Objectives: • Have an understanding of the statutory Legal requirements associated with using a Lifting Appliance. • Have an understanding of the basic construction, main components, uses, limitations and correct principles of operation of a swing lift appliance. • Demonstrate the operators routine inspections and maintenance tasks. • Identify all controls and safety devices and demonstrate the purpose of each. • Demonstrate the correct use of all swing lift appliance. • Demonstrate an understanding and correct use of lifting tackle associated with the use of a swing lift appliance. Portable Generator to 1KVA and Compressors Who is the course designed for? Anyone who will be using a portable generator and compressor in the land based or construction industries. Course outline: To train candidates to carry out checks of the equipment and attachments and prepare for safe operation. To safely operate their equipment to achieve Lantra operators status.
