New customised award with KNW 'Gantry and Pendant Crane'
Lantra Awards have approved the Gantry and Pendant Crane course as a customised award for both Novice and experienced operators.
The aim of the novice course is to train a novice operator with a limited amount of experience to have adequate knowledge, understanding and basic operating skills in the safe use of an Overhead / Pendant and Gantry Crane. The aim of the experienced operator course is to assess and refresh experienced operators with a limited amount of experience to have adequate knowledge, understanding and basic operating skills in the safe use of an Overhead / Pendant and Gantry Crane. Candidates for both the Novice and Experienced operators course should have undertaken adequate training on slinger/signaller prior to undertaking operator training and testing.
